Our Western Inspired Film

Our film was a pastiche of a typical Western film and we took the idea of a tradition western film but used the spaces around us, the college, to make it fit in. We went for a more comedic take and wanted to use shots that were similar to whose in western films. This included panning over the eyes, focusing on hands near pockets and a wide shot with both characters. Also like traditional Western films we made tension go on for a long time and the action of a gunshot happens in a flash. Jamie and I were the actors in it and Jean-Luc and Amber were the directors and camera operators and Amber also directed . We all chipped in with ideas for shots.
